Alan Gitlin:
Alan spent 35 years as an entrepreneur, creating, building and ultimately selling two successful insurance themed financial services companies. He brings his experience in finance, marketing and negotiating to the Sun team. During his career he has focused on working with middle market companies in a variety of service, manufacturing and distribution industries, helping them solve insurance and financial challenges. Alan graduated from NYU and has completed advanced studies in marketing, insurance and finance.

Daniel E. Moran II:
Dan joined SES as Senior Analyst in 2006. Dan works with the partners to identify and develop potential investment and acquisition opportunities. He brings a well rounded entrepreneurial background to the team. Previously Dan managed client relationships for a leading e-business solutions provider to middle market businesses. Prior to that Dan served as a marketing manager for the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship, where he was actively involved in a wide range of issues facing college program development and family owned enterprises. Dan holds a BS in marketing from Marist College and an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.

Stephen Goldberg:
Stephen brings over 20 years of M&A experience as an advisor to Sun Equity Solutions. In 1985 he was a founding member of a NJ based acquisitions firm. Stephen subsequently founded Sun Mergers & Acquisitions to more narrowly focus on the exit strategy needs of select middle market clients. Since that time Sun has emerged as one of the leading regional players in the field, and lends its tactical support to the institutional efforts of Sun Capital Solutions. In addition to his work as a certified business intermediary, Stephen is a frequent lecturer and writer on M&A issues. Stephen has personally assisted more than 200 entrepreneurial mid-market companies in a wide range of industries and markets, in implementing exit strategies by way of selling their companies. Steve is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and is accredited by the IBBA as a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).
